Frequently asked questions

Is the pattern really free?

Yes. This version is free, has no payment step, and does not require an account.

Do you store my phrase?

No. The pattern is generated inside your browser. We record anonymous actions such as creating and downloading a pattern, but never the phrase itself.

Will the pattern look the same on every device?

Yes. Patterns use the bundled Galmuri14 Hangul pixel grid rather than a device font, so the same phrase produces the same stitches in every supported browser.

Does choosing A4 make my finished design A4-sized?

No. A4 and US Letter only describe the printer paper. Your actual stitched size is shown beside the chart and depends on the grid and fabric count.

How much fabric should I cut?

The actual stitched size is shown beside your chart. Add at least 3 inches (7.5 cm) on every side for framing and finishing.

Is the floss amount exact?

It is an estimate for two strands with a small allowance. Stitching technique and waste will change the amount you need.
